Adobe Application Manager is an official tool from Adobe which provides the ability to update and install applications from the Creative Suite and the Creative Cloud.

I am having a problem with Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition. While configuring the package to install the Design Premium Suite 5.5 I enter the Serial Number and select Distribute updates manually. During the install process it appears that something in the package is looking to the network for information or updates in two places. Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition is a platform-specific executable file, adobeprtk.exe in Windows® or adobeprtk in Mac OS. Bring up a DOS command shell in Windows or a Terminal in Mac OS, go to the folder where you have downloaded the executable, and invoke the command per the syntax described in the subsequent sections. For standalone Acrobat deployments which not part of a Creative Cloud packager install, download the Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition (APTEE). The APTEE is a platform-specific executable file.

The program works by downloading different applications directly from the Adobe servers and fixing errors which occur when attempting to download and install updates and trial versions.

The interface of Adobe Application Manager does not provide any special functions and it easy-to-use but cannot be customized or configured in any meaningful way.

When running the program for the first time, it may download some extras and thus take some extra time to really get access to the program.

Adobe Application Manager on 32-bit and 64-bit PCs

This download is licensed as freeware for the Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) operating system on a laptop or desktop PC from software install managers without restrictions. Adobe Application Manager 10.0 is available to all software users as a free download for Windows 10 PCs but also without a hitch on Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Compatibility with this AAM patch software may vary, but will generally run fine under Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP on either a 32-bit or 64-bit setup. A separate x64 version may be available from Adobe.

Follow the steps below to reserialize Acrobat with a different serial number using the APTEE tool (Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition):

Win
Download the zip file and extract the Adobe_Provisioning_Toolkit_10_0_ALL.exe file.

Mac
Download the zip file and extract the Adobe_Provisioning_Toolkit_10_0_ALL.dmg file.

Open the Command Prompt (Win) or Terminal (Mac) as Administrator, and navigate to the location of the PRTK tool.

Create a prov.xml file using the new serial key. Run the following command with administrative privileges in Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (Mac):


adobe_prtk --tool=VolumeSerialize --generate --serial=<new serial number> --leid=<Acrobat LEID> --regsuppress=ss --eulasuppress [--provfile=<Absolute path to prov.xml>]

Unserialize the existing serial key using the following command:
adobe_prtk --tool=UnSerialize --leid=<LEID> --deactivate --force [–removeSWTag]

Note:

The return code for this command may be 0 or 29.

• Return code 0 - License is deactivated successfully.
• Return code 29 - License is already deactivated on the machine. If a user launches Acrobat post serial expiry date, the serial license is deleted from the machine.

Reserialize Acrobat using the newly created prov.xml file. Use the following command:

adobe_prtk --tool=VolumeSerialize [--provfile=<Absolute path to prov.xml>] --stream
